When do I get paid?+
When your referred business signs up AND pays their first full month (30-day vesting). Pilot Week trials don't trigger the reward on their own — only once the business upgrades to a paid tier and clears month one.
Is there a lifetime cap?+
Standard rewards run through 20 referrals. Past 20, we negotiate individually — by that point you're effectively an agency partner and a rev-share model almost always pays you more than the per-referral structure anyway.
What does the "custom agent built free" Anchor perk include?+
One medium-complexity agent (up to ~$2K of build effort on our side) tailored to your own business. Anything beyond that scope is quoted at standard custom-build rates.
Do I have to be a GAUGE client to refer?+
No. Agencies, consultants, and accountants refer too — and often do best, since they hear the pain points first.
Is there a cap on referrals or earnings?+
No. The Anchor tier keeps paying at the highest rate past ten. We want you to keep going.
What does the referred business get?+
Setup fee waived (a $500-$1,500 savings) plus 50% off their first month. Both sides win — so the ask is easy.
Can I switch between cash, credit, and free months?+
Yes, per referral. Some people take cash for the first, then pile up credit once they see GAUGE is working. You choose each time.
How do I track who I've referred?+
We issue you a personal referral link when you sign up. Every click and conversion lands in your partner dashboard (coming with launch — for now we track by hand).
Agency / consultant referrals — is there a different deal?+
Yes. If you can send us 5+ clients a year, we prefer a rev-share model — 15% of year-one revenue — instead of flat rewards. Ask about it when you sign up.
Can I refer my own other business?+
Yes. If you run multiple companies, each one counts as a separate referral so long as they're genuinely different operations.
